A preventive event “Oncoming Lane” was held in Orel

From April 10 to April 16, the preventive event “Oncoming Lane” was carried out in the region.

During the raid, police identified 116 drivers who entered the oncoming lane in places where this is prohibited, of which 9 committed this violation again.

Since the beginning of the year, 15 traffic accidents related to driving into oncoming traffic have been registered in the Oryol region. As a result of such accidents, 7 people were killed and 38 were injured of varying degrees of severity.

State traffic inspectors remind you that this violation of traffic rules is subject to liability in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of 5 thousand rubles or deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for a period of 4 to 6 months.
