Moscow. April 24. INTERFAX.RU – By the end of May – beginning of June, Russian troops will achieve tangible results in the zone of special military operation in Ukraine, Deputy Head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces Apty Alaudinov told Channel One.
“I think that by the end of the month – the beginning of June we will see a more serious, tangible result, even more,” he said. “The enemy has already begun to crumble.”
According to Alaudinov, units of the Russian Ministry of Defense daily take control of “quite serious areas and populated areas”: “We see the result every day.”
When asked about a new package of American military assistance to Ukraine, Alaudinov replied that this could lead to some “escalation” of the conflict.
“It’s absolutely unnecessary for anyone to rush into panic and think – now everything will change, and we will lose – absolutely no one needs it,” he said. “We believe that the enemy will receive long-range weapons, they will try to inflict a little damage on our civilians. On the front line , they are unlikely to be able to change anything at the front.”
On April 16, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced that the commander of the special forces “Akhmat” Alaudinov had been appointed deputy head of the main military-political department of the Ministry of Defense.
