In Kaliningrad, unknown persons left marks on trees in the “Family” park, which is better known to city residents as Sherwood Forest. A representative of the city administration, in comments on Anton Alikhanov’s VKontakte page, stated that logging is not planned there.

One of the social network users noticed that many trees in the park were covered with “strange marks.” The girl fears that the greenery is going to be cut down.

“Unfortunately, we don’t know who put these marks on the trees in the park. But this is clearly not the work of the commission to assess the condition of green spaces. If a census list was drawn up on the territory, then each tree on the land plot is marked with numbers so as not to get confused; if the tree is in disrepair and is being demolished, then it is always marked with a cross, but experts never mark trees with dots. Perhaps someone was just messing around with a can of spray paint. There are no cameras in the park, so we can’t say for sure,” the administration responded.

The authorities noted that they do not plan to build up the park on Yanalova. They are going to carry out landscaping work there, update the paths and lighting.
