On April 26, the “Bugry Museum” will open in Novosibirsk, in which the central exhibition will be finds from the village of Bugry.

As the creators of the project said in the VK community “Bugrinsky Committee”, the idea of creating a museum arose a long time ago, but there was no suitable place. Now a premises have been found on Tulskaya Street.

Bugry is a historical village that existed on the territory of the modern Kirovsky district of Novosibirsk. Founded in the 18th century. Now this place is occupied by the private sector.

“We prepared for the opening of the museum for a long time and scrupulously: for several years we collected old family photographs, documents, household items, and clothes of our ancestors. Many old-timer families of our Bugrinsky microdistrict participated in the collection of materials. Residents brought the things of their great-grandparents to collect possible information about their past and preserve the history of the place. All this played a huge role in preserving the memory of relatives and one’s roots,” says the message about the opening of the museum.

Let us remind you that earlier during the construction of the fourth Novosibirsk bridge, violations worth 3 billion rubles were found.
