Voronezh. 04/24/2024. ABIREG.RU – Speaking with an annual report in the City Duma, Voronezh Mayor Vadim Kstenin announced the amount needed to return city roads “to the condition to which Voronezh residents are accustomed.”

“We need to restart the cycle of complete replacement of asphalt on city streets, which we completed over three seasons more than 7 years ago. Now all warranty periods have expired. If earlier we invested 2 billion rubles a year, now we will need at least 3 billion annually to return the roads to the condition to which Voronezh residents are accustomed,” Kstenin explained.

Earlier, in a conversation with Abireg, the Minister of Roads, Maxim Oskin, said that the reason for the sharp deterioration of the road surface in the region was the high amplitude of temperature fluctuations last winter.

In February, Governor Alexander Gusev announced that 24 billion rubles would be allocated for road repairs in the Voronezh region in 2024.
