In Kursk in the library named after E.I. Nosov at 13:00 on April 25 there will be an interactive educational program for young Kursk residents “Profession of the Brave,” dedicated to Fire Protection Day. In Russia, one of the most vital rapid response services celebrates its professional holiday annually on April 30.
As reported in the centralized library system of Kursk, employees of the city fire and rescue unit No. 5 will introduce event visitors to the dangerous and courageous profession of a firefighter, including specialists who will tell the children where to acquire an extreme specialty. Also, modern fire fighting equipment, rescue equipment and technology will be demonstrated to the meeting participants. In addition, everyone will be reminded of safety rules.
“This kind of event is a great way to tell children about the importance of the firefighter profession and its features, to teach them the basic rules of fire safety and rules of behavior during a fire. “The guys should know how to save their lives in a difficult situation,” emphasized Roman Chertov, commander of the fire and rescue unit No. 5 of Kursk.
