Thanks to the allocated funds from the Government of the Yaroslavl Region, the city will continue to provide state support for repair work to veterans of the Great Patriotic War. This year, more than 10 million rubles have been allocated to help veterans.

— The amount of assistance is 37 thousand rubles per person. With this amount you can purchase any materials for renovating an apartment or house, for example, wallpaper, paint, construction or finishing materials, and you can also use them to pay for the repair work itself. The subsidy can be used to replace windows or gas equipment: stoves, boilers, water heaters. We have been providing these support measures for several years now. Last year, 303 veterans used them,” explained Natalya Shetneva, First Deputy Director of the Municipal Services Department of the Yaroslavl City Hall.

To exercise the right to repairs, a veteran or his representative, relative or social worker must contact the administration of his district, the housing and communal services department. You must present a passport, a certificate of membership in a preferential category, and a certificate confirming your place of residence.

After submitting the application, a commission of representatives of the territorial administration of the district draws up an act for the necessary work. The documents are sent to the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Yaroslavl Region, which oversees this procedure. The allocated funds are transferred upon completion of the work to the organization that performed the repairs. If a program participant needs to purchase equipment, then it is necessary to provide documents – an invoice and a purchase and sale agreement from the store. In this case, the allocated funds are also sent directly to the trading enterprise.
