This week, Cuprit began removing tree branches from municipal container sites.
The relocation operator reported that this is necessary to maintain a neat appearance of accumulation sites and to avoid littering the area next to them.
“For you and me, waste management reform begins with the container site. If the site is littered, the impressions of the waste collection system are negative. In past years, there were cases of littering of sites with non-municipal waste (branches, tires, construction waste), in order to change the situation, a number of decisions were made. Starting this year, Cuprit will remove all waste located both on the site and near it. If necessary and during the season, additional containers and waste bins will be placed. The waste removal fee will not change. Such measures will help keep the city clean and tidy,” comments the Minister of Environmental Protection of the Kirov Region, Timur Abashev.
Let us note that the situation with bulks at container sites often arises after cleanup days. Thus, as part of the provision of services for the management of MSW, plant waste will be removed from municipal sites in accordance with the terms of the contract. It should be noted that “Kuprit” removes plant waste from adjacent areas, provided that it is placed in a garbage container. The “crusher” can only be sent upon concluding an additional agreement with the management company – the owner of the container site.
