In order to ensure security measures during the preparation and holding of events dedicated to Spring and Labor Day, the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, employees of the licensing and permitting departments of the Directorate of the Russian Guard in the Tver Region carried out a set of verification activities.
More than 2,600 owners of civilian weapons were checked at their place of residence; based on the results of identified violations, 301 reports of administrative offenses were drawn up, about 240 weapons were seized, 490 pieces. ammunition. At the same time, an inspection was carried out of 5 arms trading organizations registered in the Tver region. During a meeting of the Coordination Council on private security activities, a decision was made to involve employees of private security organizations in the round-the-clock protection of monuments of military glory and burial sites located on the territory of the city of Tver from May 1 to May 12, 2024.
