In 2024/2025, 2 sections of the regional road Ilovlya – Olkhovka – Kamyshin will be repaired in the Volgograd region.
Their total length in the Olkhovsky district will be 21 km. The work will be carried out within the framework of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”. As the regional transport committee told Gorodskiye Vesti, the first section of the road in the area of the Zaburunnoye farm and the village of Rybinka will be completed within two seasons, in 2025.
The second facility – the access road to the village of Gusevka from the Ilovlya – Olkhovka – Kamyshin highway will be commissioned this summer. The contractor will begin work after agreeing on the repair schedule. The Ilovlya – Olkhovka – Kamyshin road is of great logistical importance; it connects the Moscow and Syzran federal highways and provides transport accessibility for villages in several districts.
It should be noted that Governor Andrei Bocharov told the President of the Russian Federation about the socio-economic situation in the region, who supported plans for its further development. One of the priority areas is the modernization of the transport and logistics network. Over 10 years, 4.4 thousand km of roads were repaired, reconstructed and built using funds from regional and federal programs.
