The Economic Development Department of the Tomsk Administration is headed by Victoria Skatova. The corresponding order was signed by Mayor Dmitry Makhinya, the mayor’s office reports.

“Victoria Skatova became one of the winners of the competition for the management personnel reserve, which ended the day before (April 23) at the mayor’s office. Yesterday she was appointed to the position of head of the economic development department of the Tomsk administration,” the statement says.

According to the administration, Victoria Skatova graduated from Tomsk State University. Since 2005 – specialist in the department of social protection of the population of the Tomsk region; in 2009, she got a job in the economics department of the Tomsk region; In 2015, she completed her studies at the TSU Graduate School of Business.

From 2015 to the present, Victoria Skatova has been Deputy Head of the Department of General Education of the Tomsk Region for the development of educational infrastructure.

Earlier, Dmitry Makhinya announced a competition for management personnel for the mayor’s office. “I’m sure this will eliminate the staff shortage in the administration and attract smart Tomsk residents who love their city to work,” the mayor noted.

A couple of days ago, the administration announced the completion of the competition, noting that applicants who successfully passed all three stages would soon be offered leadership positions. The mayor’s office wrote that “all the winners are Tomsk residents.”

The day before it became known that an official from Omsk, Irina Freindt, was appointed to the post of Deputy Mayor of Tomsk for Economic Development.
