The IV forum of Buryats of the Baikal region is taking place in Irkutsk. The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by the Governor of the Irkutsk Region Igor Kobzev, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Angara region Alexander Vedernikov, the President of the All-Buryat Association for the Development of Culture Chimit Balzhinimaev, the Chairman of the People’s Khural Committee of the Republic of Buryatia on economic policy, environmental management and ecology Innokenty Vakhrameev, deputies of the State Duma and the regional parliament, representatives of the regional government, public, educational, sports and other organizations, heads and deputies of municipalities of the Irkutsk region.
