The program of events for celebrating Victory Day in Kirov has been published

The Kirov administration website published a decree “On holding festive events dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.”

In total, the program of events (0+) includes 96 events: rallies, concert programs, memorial events that will take place in many parks and spaces of the city.

On May 9, a ceremonial meeting will take place on Teatralnaya Square from 10.00 to 11.00, and from 11.00 to 13.00 there will be a procession of the column along the street. Moscow with laying flowers at the Eternal Flame.

On Teatralnaya Square there will be a screening of Soviet feature films about the Great Patriotic War, and from 14.30 there will be a concert of creative groups from the city. A nationwide minute of silence will take place at 7 p.m.

Also on this day there will be a parade and an exhibition of vintage cars (from Konev Square to Theater Square).
