Author of State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “TAMBOV” Summer holidays are already close, which means schoolchildren will spend their free time outside more often. Today the traffic police reminded the children how to behave on the road in order to avoid becoming a victim of an accident. And the emphasis was placed on providing first aid.

You can hear about schoolchildren who bravely saved someone’s life from various information sources. And it all starts, as a rule, with lessons like these, where children are told how to behave in emergency situations.

The first thing every schoolchild should remember is emergency numbers, who to contact, who to call and how to act in any emergency situation,

– Larisa Prosandeeva, traffic safety promotion inspector of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Tambov region.

As it turned out, the schoolchildren learned them by heart.

From a mobile phone to 102 or 112, from a landline to 01, 02, 03, 04,

– Konstantin Latukhin, student of Lyceum No. 6.

What injuries can occur in an accident, and most importantly, how to help. Volunteer doctors from the medical college told the children about this. Experts are confident that everyone, even an unprepared person, can make a dressing and correctly position the victim, the main thing is not to get confused and have the necessary knowledge.

The most basic assistance a person can provide is cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This is a classic, almost everyone knows it,

– Sofya Ivanova, student at Tambov Regional Medical College.

– Do not bend your arms at the joints and press hard. Well done.

The lesson was not in vain. I liked it and remembered it.

After calling special services, you need to examine him, check his chest to see if he is breathing and the carotid artery on the side of his neck to see if he has a heartbeat. If he has no heartbeat and no breathing, then cardiopulmonary resuscitation should be started.

– Ivan Belyakov, student of Lyceum No. 6.

On the eve of the summer holidays, similar meetings will be held more than once with students from different schools. In conclusion, the children were given reminders in the form of bookmarks, which can always be at hand, for example, in a favorite book, and remind them of important rules at the right time.
