Major checks took place in Apatity. During the raid, compliance with immigration laws was checked. Law enforcement officers checked trade, construction, consumer services, places of stay (residence) of foreign citizens, and parking lots for vehicles.
– As a result of the raids, two foreign citizens were identified who were on the territory of the Russian Federation in violation of the regime of stay and four who were engaged in illegal labor activities. Administrative materials have been drawn up against the violators, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Repeated commission of a similar offense within 1 year threatens foreign citizens with forced deportation to their country of citizenship, as well as a ban on entry into the Russian Federation for a period of 5 years.
In addition, as part of the ongoing inspections, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate suppressed more than 30 administrative offenses. Drivers of route buses and taxis were also held administratively liable for violations of traffic rules.
