Immortal Regiment – Voronezh: Ovcharov Andrey Stefanovich

Ovcharov A.S. (1895 – 1997) participant in three wars. During the Great Patriotic War, he took an active part in the partisan movement in the territory of what is now the Novooskolsky district of the Belgorod region under the call sign Klen. The partisan detachment, consisting mainly of Belarusians, was also involved in the production and delivery of horse-drawn carts, sleighs, charcoal, etc. to the front. After the war he worked as a forester in the Krasnogvardeisky forestry.
