In the creative space “Salute, youth!” a conference on environmental transport was held

The conference was held as part of the Environmental Forum “Ecology: City, Economy, People”, which takes place in Vologda from April 20 to 27.

At the conference, speakers talked about trends and prospects for the development of electric transport, as well as international experience in the development of the electric vehicle industry. Speakers from Vologda, Moscow, Yaroslavl, St. Petersburg, Cherepovets and Minsk spoke to the guests. Colleagues exchanged experience in the development of electric transport in their cities, interaction with authorities and commercial structures.

Vologda is considered one of the best cities in terms of its availability of chargers for electric cars, because it has a high ratio of charging stations to the number of electric vehicles.

The development of electric transport in our city is one of the solutions towards improving the environmental situation not only in the city, but throughout the country. This is part of the EcoVologda 2030 strategy.

The project “Development of Electric Transport” and “Development of Eco-friendly Transport” involves a gradual transition to environmentally friendly public transport and the introduction of personal electric transport. Strategy objective: by 2030, completely switch to public eco-friendly transport.
