It will take two years to liquidate the landfill in Kanishchev

The administration of Ryazan plans to liquidate an unauthorized landfill in Kanishchev in the Kuzmina ravine area within two years, and create a landscaped green zone in its place. First Deputy Mayor Dmitry Loshchinin announced this on Tuesday, April 23, at a meeting of the government of the Ryazan region.

According to the official, the liquidation project has already been developed and is undergoing examination.

“In 2024, 48 million rubles have been allocated for liquidation, the total cost of the work is about 160 million,” Loshchinin noted. — Accordingly, the implementation of the project is planned for two years, in the future it is planned to create a green zone here.

The governor emphasized that “raking out landfills” has to be done regularly, and therefore he asked officials to more carefully monitor the territories under their jurisdiction.
