Military personnel of two generations met at the site of the United Russia Public Support Headquarters. Officer Mikhail Yumashev told participants in the Tambov Youth Army movement and activists of youth organizations about his service during the Afghan war, and also, on the eve of Victory Day, recalled what contribution the Tambov region made to the events of the Great Patriotic War.

“When you return to a calm situation, when there is no shooting anywhere, then it becomes scary to realize how this could end. The main thing is to stay with a cool head,” said the SVO member.
