Vladimir Putin held a meeting on liquidation of the consequences of the flood in the Orenburg, Kurgan and Tyumen regions. The meeting was attended by heads of relevant ministries, heads of regions and municipalities affected by the flood.

— It will be necessary to evaluate in detail and adjust, if necessary, the amount of compensation payments to citizens affected by the emergency situation. I mean one-time financial assistance, payments in connection with partial or complete loss of property, and others. The approaches here must be uniform and fair – regardless of the budgetary provision of the regions,” Vladimir Putin emphasized.

Governor Denis Pasler reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the liquidation of the consequences of the flood in the region.

— In total, about 18 thousand residential buildings in the region were freed from water, which is 60% of the total number of flooded households. Commissions are actively working in the territories to assess the suitability of housing for further residence and to assess damage to property. Specialists have already inspected 11,226 households – this is more than 70% of vacant houses,” said Denis Pasler.

In total, power supply has been restored to more than 74% of consumers in the region – these are apartment buildings, social facilities, housing and communal services, and businesses. Work is underway to connect the private sector to the power grid. About 6 thousand distribution cabinets were purchased, which employees of electrical grid organizations install on the facades of houses and connect to the main lines. Gas supply has been restored to more than 57% of subscribers.

In Orenburg, water supply facilities are operating as normal.
The city of Orsk is under special control, where the most pressing issue is the city’s water supply. Today there are already 40 wells in operation with a large balance.

Now the volume of water supplied to the city has been significantly increased. But it is still not enough to provide all areas of Orsk with water. Work is carried out around the clock in difficult to reach areas.

At a meeting on liquidation of the consequences of the flood, which was held by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Governor Denis Pasler with the heads of Orsk and Orenburg voiced the most pressing issues for residents of the region

— Drew the attention of the head of state to the damage caused to the suburban infrastructure of summer children’s health camps. Of the 46 objects, 24 were flooded. They provided 70% of the summer recreation for children in the region. This season, according to Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Alekseevna Golikova, children in flood-affected areas will be able to relax in camps in the Krasnodar Territory and Yevpatoria, the governor said.

The head of Orsk, Vasily Kozupitsa, said that it is necessary to reconsider the terms of payments for those who have a flooded house, but have shares in the property in other housing. The President emphasized that this issue needs to be worked out with federal departments and a targeted approach to each situation.

A large category of victims in the region are members of the SNT. The region has developed a plan to support gardening partnerships to restore infrastructure. The basic document for determining the emergency zone already includes all affected SNT. People who have registered property rights, reside permanently, and have been registered will receive payments.

But there are few of those among the victims in SNT – for the majority this is the only housing. The President noted that this issue also needs to be worked out jointly with the federal center.
