On Wednesday, April 24, a ceremony summing up the results of the regional competitions “Professional of the Year” and “Best Labor Dynasty” took place in Samara. The governor awarded the countrymen who made a special contribution to the development and achievements of the province Dmitry Azarov.
The “Professional of the Year” and “Best Labor Dynasty” competitions are held annually in the Samara region. It involves specialists from various industries. Traditionally, the award ceremony is held on the eve of the Spring and Labor Day.
“We honor people who have shown labor valor and made a special contribution to the development of the Samara region,” said Governor Dmitry Azarov, starting the ceremony. “Workers of various professions participate in the competitions. But one thing unites everyone – the desire to develop, become the best in their profession, and contribute to the prosperity of our region and our beautiful country. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has proven themselves to be a true professional, who has made it a rule to never stop there. This is the core of character that allows us to move our region forward. Your labor victories are victories for our entire native Samara region!
The governor noted that in our region, a working person has been revered at all times, regardless of the area in which he found his professional fulfillment.
“The important thing is that a person put his soul into his work, creating with his own hands something that the Samara land is proud of. These are the people who have gathered in this hall today. I am confident that together, as one team, we will be able to achieve success in all our endeavors, no matter what difficulties await us,” said the head of the region.
Dmitry Azarov emphasized that largely thanks to the workers and patriots of their native land, the Samara region is not only withstanding the sanctions blow, but is also successfully developing at an accelerated pace, the regional economy is demonstrating strong growth. At the end of 2023, the region achieved record levels in a number of areas of the economy and industry. Today, a number of projects that are important for the region and the country are being implemented in the Samara region.
Dmitry Azarov noted that such development dynamics make it possible to exceed not only the pre-sanction, but also the pre-pandemic level. And this is in the context of unprecedented sanctions.
“A region like the Samara region, economically and industrially developed, innovative, is primarily feeling these sanctions. But we not only withstood the blow, but we are also moving forward at an accelerated pace,” the governor emphasized. — The strategy for accelerated development of the Samara region, approved several years ago together with the residents of the region, is confirmed by both our work and statistical data. Investments, new production and new jobs are the solution to the task set by the President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, — improving the standard of living of people in the Samara region. And we can do it together.”
Dmitry Azarov emphasized: the achievements of the Samara region are the merit of every worker, a patriot of his native land, and high results oblige us to work even more efficiently, unitedly and as a single team.
“This is how, as a single team, consolidating and joining forces, Russia has always won on all fronts and directions,” the governor said.
Separately, the head of the region thanked the work collectives for supporting the heroic defenders of the Fatherland and the families of military personnel.
This year, the family became the best in the labor dynasty competition Andrianovs from Borsky district. They work in an agro-industrial enterprise. The total length of service of the dynasty is 366 years. Also at the gala event, the winners of the “Professional of the Year” competition in 10 areas were awarded.
Dmitry Azarov congratulated the winners and noted that by their example they inspire colleagues, residents of the region, and the younger generation to do honest, hard work for the benefit of their native land, in the name of the greatness and prosperity of Russia.
“Many of you are mentors, passing on your knowledge and professional skills to new generations of professionals in the Samara region. I sincerely thank you for this!” the governor noted.
The governor wished his fellow countrymen health, goodness, prosperity, and new achievements:
“By strengthening our rear with highly productive labor, we will achieve the solution to the main task set by our national leader Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, set by the people of Russia – Victory in a special military operation. Each of you contributes to the approach of Victory, and it will definitely happen!” said Dmitry Azarov.
