Another shocking video of a Renault Duster hitting a group of schoolchildren at a crossing near school No. 1 on Gorny in the Traktorozavodsky district of Volgograd has appeared.

Judging by the footage, two children ended up under the bottom of the foreign car and were dragged forward strongly. Another child crawled out of the way on all fours. In total, four 12-year-old schoolchildren were injured in the terrible accident, three of them recovered. The girl’s condition is most severe. She was the only one in intensive care. Friends of the family said that the schoolgirl fell into a coma. Afterwards, the girl regained consciousness, her condition stabilized, and Volgograd doctors allowed her to be transferred to Moscow.

An accident at a pedestrian crossing on Opolchenskaya occurred on the morning of April 11. The Renault Duster was driven by a 37-year-old Volgograd woman, against whom a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. According to preliminary police data, the woman drove through a prohibitory traffic light.

The video from a new angle again caused heated discussions among Volgograd residents:

“Yes, she didn’t apply the emergency brake at all.”

— Am I the only one who thinks that first there was an accident and a moment later the light turned red? The schoolchildren went out onto the road at the red pedestrian crossing. You have to cross the crossing, but they run across! Parents are held fully accountable…

– So there were more children… Three of them ran on as if nothing had happened.
