As part of the federal program “Safe Quality Roads,” Ivanovo began repairing 8 roads under rolling contracts from previous years, and 6 sections under contracts this year. Before this, the chairman of the TOS said, the management of the reinforced concrete plant was watching her. Since the 90s, roads and sidewalks have been slowly deteriorating without proper maintenance. They promised to repair it in 2019 – it didn’t happen.

Ekaterina Kryuchkova, Chairman of TOS “Silikatny”: “And suddenly they announce to us that this year they are making the 13th Bereznikovskaya for us. The road near the kindergarten. We don’t have parking spaces, we don’t have sidewalks. This inspired us.”

Inspired to create coziness in this separate microdistrict on the edge of the city. Thanks to proactive residents and the support of deputies, a multifunctional sports complex and the Bereznichok public garden were built here.

Olga Belolapova, deputy of the Ivanovo City Duma: “The neighborhood is changing comprehensively. We can’t just talk about the road. Firstly, active residents who created the TOS, which participates in all initiatives carried out by the city and region. They became repeated winners of the “Comfortable Environment” project.

The need to repair the road has been discussed for more than one year, the deputy confirmed. This is the entrance to kindergarten No. 190. In Olga Belolapova’s district, they promise to fix 2 more roads this year, on Nefedova Street to school No. 28. Zhugina Street, where the orphanage and three kindergartens are located, will also be repaired.

On 13th Bereznikovskaya from Torfyanoy Lane, repairs are already in full swing.

Alexey Mikhailov, deputy head of the administration of Ivanovo: “The length of this section being repaired is about 300 meters. The amount of financing is more than 9 million rubles. We plan to complete the work before the end of the season, the construction season this year. A pedestrian sidewalk will again be created on this section of the road. The roadway will be widened.”

A third of the work, Alexey Mikhailov noted, has been completed. They have made a widening and are preparing for filling. By the way, we didn’t forget about parking pockets. The asphalt concrete surface will be new, curb stones will be installed, road signs and artificial humps will be restored.
