The old benches in the park near the Institute of Culture were cut down last year. Residents of the block and other Ryazan residents who chose this cozy island of greenery in the middle of a noisy city experienced inconvenience all this time. To rest, they had to go to the polluted Yeseninsky Boulevard, where it is very noisy from passing cars and they can’t breathe from car exhaust. The townspeople posted a post on social networks, and now, two weeks later, the benches returned – beautiful, comfortable, with backs. Now they are not empty. Pensioners, mothers with strollers, and young people come to relax. The city’s incident management system, which monitors citizens’ requests on social networks, worked perfectly. Another problem arose – the square began to be overgrown with beer bottles. But it’s not that difficult to solve. By the end of the year, an additional 1,200 CCTV cameras will be installed in Ryazan to the existing three hundred, this was discussed on Tuesday at a meeting of the Regional Government, and all excesses will be in full view thanks to the artificial intelligence system. Let’s hope that the vigilant eye of the camera will also recognize drinking alcohol in public places and will immediately send an outfit. It is very important to have comfortable places where people can feel part of the city or be alone with it. And there are more and more such vacation spots in the city.
