On April 25, 2024, Mayor of Irkutsk Ruslan Bolotov gives a report on the activities of the city administration in 2023 and plans for this year. Among the important achievements, he noted that in 2024 we reached the finish line of the construction of new heating networks in the Zeleny microdistrict.
We have laid new networks, and we plan to decommission the outdated boiler house this year.
Without federal investments and support from the regional government, this would not have been possible.
Now another large infrastructure project is being implemented in Irkutsk – the construction of a heat ray. It will provide heat to the Rabochye suburb. Construction started in the fall of 2023. In three years, more than 5.5 kilometers of heating networks will be built. Our region previously received an infrastructure budget loan for this project.
