The Novosibirsk metro is rapidly developing, and in order to implement the grandiose project of the Dzerzhinskaya station, the regional and city authorities were faced with the need to find an experienced designer. Governor Andrei Travnikov, speaking on the direct line of the OTS TV channel, admitted that the Metro MiR MP does not have enough competencies for such a large-scale task.

“We must soberly assess the situation and decide how to move forward,” the head of the region emphasized. “Either strengthen the Metro MiR company with additional specialists, or admit that this is inappropriate and terminate the contract. In the latter case, we will immediately attract another organization, perhaps , working outside our city.”

Governor Travnikov recalled that funding for the design of the Dzerzhinskaya station has already been allocated in 2023, emphasizing the importance of implementing this project.
