Details of a high-profile night traffic accident in the Bolotninsky district of the Novosibirsk region have emerged. A minibus with nine passengers collided with a truck on the night of April 25. The accident occurred on the 124 km of the R-255 Siberia highway.

According to the regional traffic police, the 54-year-old driver of the Mercedes Sprinter minibus was moving from Kemerovo in the direction of Novosibirsk. At some point, he lost control and collided with a Hovo truck driven by a 40-year-old driver.
The accident occurred at 3:50 am. There were nine people inside the minibus at the time of the accident. Four of them, including the driver, received injuries of varying severity. One participant was hospitalized. Information about nine victims has not been confirmed.
Based on the fact of the accident, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate opened a case of an administrative offense under Art. 12.24 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The circumstances of the accident are being established.
