April 21 on the fields of the Spartak Academy. F. Cherenkov, the final part of the All-Russian tournament for children from orphanages and boarding schools “The Game of Your Dreams” took place. The event was organized by the interregional public organization “Volunteer Club” with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund.
64 teams from all over Russia took part in the competition. The team from the Orenburg Children’s Home “Inter” was the main favorite to win throughout the entire tournament. In the final, the Orenburg team met with the Ryazan Boarding School. The teams spent the main time very brightly, there were many chances at the goal of each team, but even here in normal time they could not determine the winner, and everything was decided in a penalty shootout. The teams took turns scoring goals, but the ninth attempt was decisive. Our guys took second place in Russia!
The children at the Children’s House love football very much and are ready to spend all their free time on the football field. The love for football is so great that it has embraced both boys and girls. You can say that the guys live football and are looking forward to the competition! Trainings take place six times a week and only one day do the guys allow themselves a little rest.
The “Childhood Home” team bears the proud name “Inter“and completely justifies it. The guys won the “The Future Depends on You” tournament in Sochi three times in 2019, 2022, 2023. In 2021 and 2022, we won the “Bring Back Childhood” football tournament in Ufa among 14 teams of the Volga Federal District. The guys not only love to play football, but also actively support their team, FC Orenburg, trying to attend all the home matches of their home club.
The team is led by Mikhail Shandalov, a fan of his work, loves children and football, and tries to instill in his players the best qualities, motivating the guys to win.
