A unique Youth Digital Forum “on YOU with IT” took place in Chelyabinsk. Over two days, more than 2,000 guests and forum participants had the opportunity to find themselves in the IT industry, get acquainted with modern technologies, regional IT companies and more.

On the final day of the forum, events were held for participants of all ages: Battle of bloggers “Digital Roasting”, meetup “IT assembly: from an institute to an IT company using a smart algorithm“, a tournament and workshop for teachers, master classes for children continued “Tame artificial intelligence“, “Create your own application – a music player.”

A business breakfast was held for digital ministers and digital transformation leaders from other regions of Russia, at which they discussed issues of training IT personnel, experience of interaction between educational organizations and IT business, retention of IT personnel in the country and possible measures to support young specialists

” Today, an urgent task for our region is training personnel in the IT field, so the Forum events were aimed at career guidance and supporting young people in choosing future IT professions. For Forum participants, in an interactive format, we offered practical simulators and master classes aimed at increasing the level of competencies and skills in the field of IT: VR, neural networks, computer assembly, fiber optic welding, soldering of microcircuits and much more. During the discussion, the interregional expert community identified points of growth in the efficiency of interaction between participants in the digital ecosystem “School-University-IT-Company”, which will make it easier for young people to enter the IT community, develop the level of digital competencies, and build an IT career in their home region “, shared Igor Fetisov, Minister of Information Technologies, Communications and Digital Development of the Chelyabinsk Region .

In the afternoon, delegations from the regions visited the Robot Factory, Regional Clinical Hospital No. 3, the digital stand of Rostelecom and the Chelyabinsk Regional Multidisciplinary Boarding School for Gifted Children. Participants in the digital track were shown digital solutions and services in education, medicine and industry in the Chelyabinsk region.

In the Battle of Bloggers “Digital roasting“12 teams competed for the most creative and fun video! The hosts of the event, Alexander Burdashev, a finalist in the Comedy Battle project and the KVN Major League, and Alexander Shutov, the author of television shows on Channel One, TNT and STS, told the children about the secrets of creating one of the most popular genres among teenagers – short videos. The participating teams competed for the title of best blogger of the forum in the following categories: the funniest video, the most creative video and the coolest editing. The winning teams received gifts from the general partner of the event – the national provider “Rostelecom”

At the “Digital Services for Teachers” workshop with the participation of experts from Rostelecom, Sber, Yandex, VK, Innopolis and 1T, teachers were introduced to modern digital services that they can use in their professional activities.
