During the classes, students from gymnasium No. 1 in Orenburg, together with their class teachers, watched a series of videos and discussed important aspects of information security in the Internet space. Schoolchildren learned how to avoid account theft, use sources of information and communicate correctly on social networks, how to identify “deepfakes” and what “doxxing” is.

Project “Digital educational program» was created by ANO “Digital Economy” together with the Ministry of Education of Russia and the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia. It brings together a series of educational animated videos that teach children the basics of digital literacy and cybersecurity using clear examples. The content has been verified by the Ministry of Education of Russia, is intended for the age category 6+ and is recommended for viewing with parents and teachers.

Thanks to the project, students learned how to recognize the actions of scammers, what cyberbullying and a digital footprint are, and increased the level of digital literacy in an accessible interactive format.

Anyone can take digital literacy lessons on the project website. There are educational videos there that will be useful to watch not only for children, but also for adults.
