The My Business Center and the Tashkent free economic zone Angren have become partners

The regional center “My Business” and the free economic zone (FEZ) “Angren” in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan entered into a cooperation agreement.

According to the Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Maxim Cherkasov, the agreement with the Angren FEZ will provide an opportunity to exchange best practices in helping enterprises, as well as implement joint projects that are aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and helping companies develop foreign economic activity.

FEZ “Angren” provides its residents with tax and customs benefits. Currently, more than 80 Uzbek companies from various industries operate in the free economic zone: electronics, mechanical engineering, chemistry and petrochemistry, food industry, construction materials production and leather industry. During the business meeting, experts from the Regional Export Support Center held negotiations between business trip participants and residents of the free economic zone.

The national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives” was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the national project is being implemented by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship. As part of the national project, entrepreneurs are provided with comprehensive consulting, information, property, and financial support.

Earlier it was reported that representatives of 20 Nizhny Novgorod companies took part in the business mission to Uzbekistan.
