The Yaroslavl ministry told how schoolchildren will relax during the May holidays – Yarreg

In the Yaroslavl region, the school schedule for the May holidays has been announced. Schoolchildren who study for five days will have a rest only on May 1 and 9. In institutions with a six-day week, the weekends will coincide with the national ones.

However, some educational institutions with six-day days have departed from the schedule. Students of these schools will also have a rest only on May 1 and 9. The regional Ministry of Education explained the situation.

“The Ministry of Education of the Yaroslavl Region recommends that heads of educational organizations, in case of discrepancies between national holidays and the school schedule, move school days from April 29 and 30 to May 20 and 21,” the department explained.
