Rostov region, April 25, 2024. DON24.RU. In the Rostov region, a company did not pay workers wages for several months, reports the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.
The Shakhty employer was reported to have delayed payments to 35 subordinates. The total amount of debt to employees amounted to 3.6 million rubles.
“The prosecutor’s office has taken a set of response measures to protect the labor rights of citizens. After the intervention of the supervisory authority, the debt to 26 employees in the amount of 2.8 million rubles was repaid,” the source reports.
Also, based on the materials of the prosecutor’s inspection, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 145.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Complete non-payment of wages for more than two months.”
Earlier it was reported that in the Rostov region the mother is suspected of fraud in receiving benefits. It was previously established that the woman applied for and received child care payments, although she did not take part in raising her daughter.
