Rostov doctors saved a SVO participant with a large aneurysm and restored the function of his arm. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Health.

It is noted that the soldier was seriously injured during his service. After a period of healing, he was unable to move his limb. The man addressed this problem to Rostov State Medical University.

As told cardiologist Dmitry Pryadko, there was practically no pulse in his right hand.

“He couldn’t take the mug, couldn’t even sign his name.” At the clinic, he underwent an ultrasound of the arteries of the upper extremities, which revealed a large aneurysm entangled in the nerve, the doctor added.

The man needed urgent surgery. After all, any injury could lead to a rupture of the aneurysm.

Fortunately, the fighter was successfully operated on. Surgeries restored blood flow and the arm now functions normally.
