According to the Investigative Directorate of Russia for the Ryazan Region, a criminal investigation has been completed against a former employee of one of the district offices of bailiffs of the regional Federal Bailiff Service of Russia, accused of fraud committed by a person using his official position (Part 3 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The investigation established that in 2023, the accused, holding a leadership position in one of the district bailiff departments and taking advantage of the fact that she had a trusting relationship with the debtor in the enforcement proceedings, fraudulently received from the latter more than 100 thousand rubles, allegedly for assisting in the withdrawal prohibition on performing registration actions with a vehicle. Moreover, in reality, the accused did not intend to provide such assistance, since making such decisions was not within her competence.
The accused disposed of the funds received at her own discretion, thereby causing significant material damage to the woman.
Operational support of the criminal case was carried out by employees of the OSB of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia in the Ryazan region.
During the criminal investigation, the accused pleaded guilty and fully compensated for the damage caused.
The investigation has collected a sufficient evidence base, and therefore the criminal case with an approved indictment has been sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
