In the Rostov region, the Rostov-Stavropol highway is being repaired according to a national project

Rostov region, April 25, 2024. DON24.RU. In the Rostov region, under the national project “Safe Quality Roads”, a section of the Rostov-Stavropol road is being repaired. This was reported on the website of the Don government.

Repair work is being carried out on the section km 81+820 – km 83+700. The contractor is currently leveling the road with an asphalt concrete mixture. Next, road workers will have to apply coating on the main road, intersections and adjacent roads. The contractor must also apply thermoplastic markings.

The work is planned to be completed by the beginning of the summer season.

The government said that this year, as part of the national project, another section of the highway in the Tselinsky district will be repaired.

“Bringing the Rostov-Stavropol route to a standard state is of great importance both for local residents and for the region as a whole. The highway passes through six municipal districts of the Rostov region and provides transport links for a large number of settlements with the Don capital. The route also directly connects the city of Rostov-on-Don with the administrative center of the neighboring region – the city of Stavropol,” said Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region Igor Sorokin.
