Saratov volleyball players confirmed the right to enter the Major League

Volleyball players from Saratov “Energetik” in Kostroma took fifth place in the final of the First League (Center). Saratov won one match out of five.

“Energetik” ended the final with losses to “Opticenergo-Mordovia” (Saransk) – 0:3 (19:25, 18:25, 18:25) and “Yaroslavl Bears” (Yaroslavl) – 1:3 (25:23, 21: 25, 13:25, 15:25).

Despite the setbacks, the only match won helped the Saratov team confirm their right to compete in the next season in Major League B. They came to the final, played it to the end and did not finish last, sending “OKHOTNO” (Bryansk) to sixth place. As a result, the Bryansk team does not get into the Major League.

The champion was VK Tambov, the second was Optikenergo-Mordovia, the third was Volzhanin-2 (Kostroma).
