In the city of Smolensk, from May 15, on the basis of a branch of the Presidential Academy, an assessment point for participants in the selection for the “Time of Heroes” Program will begin to operate.

In Russia, on behalf of the President, the Higher School of Public Administration of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, on the basis of the Senezh Management Workshop, is implementing the “Time of Heroes” Development Program for participants in a special military operation.

As part of the Program, highly qualified managers are trained from among the SVO participants to work in state and municipal authorities and in state-owned companies.

Smolensk military personnel on leave will now be able to undergo testing under the Program if they were unable to do so previously. Smolensk is among 43 cities in which assessment points will open from May 15 on the basis of a branch of the Presidential Academy.

The assessment methodology objectively, excluding the human factor, determines the managerial potential of the participant. Participants in the Leaders of Russia competition have been taking similar tests for seven years now.

“Taking into account the total number of applications, which exceeded 44 thousand, the creation of a wide network of testing centers was necessary. We hope that this will create additional convenience for our military personnel,” said the Rector of the Presidential Academy, General Director of the ANO “Russia – the Land of Opportunities” Alexey Komissarov.

Testing at assessment points will be possible until the end of 2024. The first participants have already done this.

“Among the military personnel, among the officers, there are a huge number of people with unique experience in managing their units and formations who could serve the Motherland in a new capacity,” – noted Alexander, a participant in the selection for the “Time of Heroes” Program.

He also added that the Program will help everyone find themselves in the service of the state: “The Time of Heroes program will allow officers to gain new knowledge, gain new experience and continue their service for the benefit of the Fatherland in civilian life.”
