On Thursday, April 25, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Ryazan Region Anna Roslyakova chaired a meeting of the commission on emergency prevention and fire safety. One of the topics was the results of the flood period in the region.
According to the head of the crisis management center of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, Sergei Andreev, during the flood in the Ryazan region, 21 low-water bridges, 13 sections of roads, and 517 household plots were flooded. 13 settlements in 6 municipalities were cut off from the mainland.
“As of April 25, 3 bridges, 4 road sections, and 1 personal plot in Ryazan remain flooded. 2 settlements have been cut off in the Shilovsky and Ermishinsky districts. We are in the final stage of the flood,” said Sergei Andreev.
The maximum water rise was 598 cm, with a dangerous level of 650 cm, noted Sergei Andreev. The weather did not allow the water to rise higher. There were 10 boat crossings in the Ryazan region. The mobile transporter transported 2,906 people from Zaoksky and Korostov.
The flood in the Ryazan region passed without dangerous phenomena, Anna Roslyakova emphasized. The work of emergency services was organized, the life support of the population was not disrupted.
