A drug distributor who managed to make caches for 40 packages of “synthetics” was detained in Ivanovo.

Employees of the Drug Control Department of the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs exposed a resident of the regional center born in 1998, who equipped caches of synthetic drugs. The suspect was detained while trying to sell another batch of N-methylephedrone, the department’s press service reported.

During a personal search, the operatives found 130 grams of the drug on the man, and then bundles of “synthetics” were removed from the stash caches he had already equipped. 40 grams of N-methylephedrone were packaged in 40 packages.

Investigators found a prohibited substance on the suspect during a home search.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Now the defendant is in pre-trial detention center No. 1 in the regional center.
