The Department of Guardianship and Trusteeship of the Department of Social Policy of the Kurgan City Administration informs about the start of the campaign “Make a Miracle! Give your child summer! for the summer holidays 2024. The action is designed to help children from institutions for orphans and children left without parental care understand, at least for a short time, what a family is. Kurgan residents who are not indifferent to the fate of children left without parental care can take a child into their family for vacations, weekends, and non-working holidays for up to 3 months. In the presence of exceptional circumstances, the period of temporary stay of a child in a family can be increased to 6 months.

Let us remind you that a guest family is one of the forms of communication with a child when citizens take their children to visit – on weekends, holidays, vacations. As part of the campaign, Kurgan residents will be able to become friends, mentors, and parents for such children.

When temporarily transferred to citizens’ families, children are provided with food or monetary compensation for their purchase.

It should be noted that brothers and sisters who are in the same organization for orphans and children left without parental care are temporarily transferred to the citizen’s family together. The exception is cases when, for medical reasons or at the request of the children themselves, this is impossible.

Citizens who wish to obtain an opinion from the guardianship and trusteeship authority on the possibility of temporarily transferring a child (children) to their family submit an application to the guardianship and trusteeship authority at their place of residence or stay, attaching the necessary package of documents. If a citizen has a conclusion on the possibility of being an adoptive parent, guardian or trustee, issued by the guardianship and trusteeship authority in the prescribed manner, he can also temporarily accept the child (children) into the family.

Citizens who have permanent registration or registration at the place of stay in the city of Kurgan can seek advice on the temporary stay of a child (children) from organizations for orphans and children without parental care in their families.
