He took 13th place in the ranking for the last two months of the year
The head of the Novosibirsk region Andrei Travnikov took 13th place in the National Ranking of Governors for March-April 2024. This rating is based on surveys of experts who evaluate the activities of regional heads according to various criteria.
According to experts, the successful elections of the President of the Russian Federation, the mayor of Novosibirsk, as well as the approval by the Legislative Assembly of the region of the report on the activities of the regional government over the past year contributed to the strengthening of Andrei Travnikov’s position. Analysts also note that the regular receipt of additional funds from the federal budget indicates the stability of the governor’s position.
As additional factors that positively influence Travnikov’s rating, experts highlight the awarding of the title of Hero of Russia to cosmonaut Anna Kikina, originally from Novosibirsk, as well as an application for the creation of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and the construction of an Industrial and Logistics Park in the region.
