Medical students talked about the importance of family

In the meeting room of the Astrakhan State Medical University, within the framework of the project of the Council of Students of Medical and Pharmaceutical Universities of the Ministry of Health of Russia “Conscious Parenthood”, a round table “Responsibility for Parenthood” was held.

The organizers of the round table were the Council of Students of Medical and Pharmaceutical Universities of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the department for educational work and the student government of the Astrakhan State Medical University.

The topics for the reports were problems related to family planning, the importance of understanding responsibility for the life and health of a child, as well as the importance of family in modern society.

The opening speech to the participants of the round table was made by a member of the Council of Medical and Pharmaceutical Universities of the Ministry of Health of Russia – Andrey Midonov, who shared information about the “Conscious Parenthood” project. Elizaveta Marchenko, a 1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine, made a presentation on the topic “Parenthood is a conscious choice,” paying special attention to the concept and acceptance of parental responsibility.

1st year students of the Faculty of Medicine Maria Verlyudova and Nikita Lushnikov spoke about family innovations at the Institute of Society and how important it is to plan a family.

The round table “Responsibility for Parenthood” not only became a platform for discussing important aspects of family life, responsibility for parents and children, but also encouraged students to think about their future and make informed decisions in choosing parenthood.

Initiatives like these help young people understand the value of family, health and safety for the future generation. They are important for the formation of a healthy society, where each person is aware of his role in creating a family and raising normal children. The responsibility of parenthood is not only about caring for good children, but also about the future of the country as a whole.
