By May 9, more than 16 thousand decorations will be installed in St. Petersburg. The design will be traditional for the holiday, and remote areas of the city will receive special attention.
For the celebration of Victory Day in St. Petersburg, they prepared even more decorations than last year. The Pushkinsky, Kolpinsky and Petrodvortsovy districts deserve special attention, said the head of the St. Petersburg Press Committee Vladimir Ryabovol during a press conference in TASS.
More than 16 thousand festive elements will be used in St. Petersburg for Victory Day. In the decorations of the Northern capital you will see flags and coats of arms of cities of military glory, front standards and images of orders of the Great Patriotic War. Residents and guests of the city of Petra will be able to see portraits of still living WWII veterans, posters from the “People’s Victory” and “Heroes of the Soviet Union” series.
The information will be placed on advertising structures and electronic boards. In total, more than 500 structures are involved. On which they will also show video congratulations on the holiday.
The design of the decorations will be in the traditional style for residents with the addition of elements developed at the federal level.
