On Thursday, April 25, in Vladimir, in a solemn ceremony, a group of military personnel who decided to enter into a contract with the Ministry of Defense for service in the Special Military Operation zone was escorted to army training centers.
Representatives of the regional military registration and enlistment office, veterans, volunteers, relatives and friends gathered to see off the fighters.
A volunteer named Eugene seriously considered the decision before entering into a contract.
“I’m going to protect Russia, our children. We also need to support our compatriots and help them there. Together we will eradicate this evil, that Nazism that our grandfathers fought against,” he says.
Relatives admit that for them Evgeniy is already a hero.
“My husband simply said that “we must, we must go there, we are not abandoning OURS!” For us he is already a hero. He continues what our grandfathers and great-grandfathers did and we are proud of it,” says Evgenia’s wife.
