The winner received 84 percent of the votes
Elections of the rector were held at Smolensk State University. This was reported on the official page of the university on social networks.
The issue was considered during a university conference, which was attended by 92 delegates. These include students, staff and representatives of the teaching staff.
The current rector of SmolGU Mikhail Artemenkov won, with 84% of the delegates voting for him.
Let us recall that Mikhail Artemenkov officially headed the university as rector in September 2019 (since May 2017 – acting rector of SmolSU).
The day before it became known that the rector had changed at the Smolensk Institute of Arts. It was Alexey Sery. The former head took the position of vice-rector of the university.
