The first in the Orenburg region to start sowing were the farmers of Akbulak, Krasnogvardeisky, Kurmanaevsky, Pervomaisky, Tashlinsky, and Totsky districts. Already in one day, 3.4 thousand hectares have been sown.
This year, the area of spring sowing will be 3 million 246.8 thousand hectares, including 1 million 886.2 thousand of grains and legumes.
According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, as of April 25, moisture control (harrowing) was carried out on an area of 883 thousand hectares, which is one third of the plan. The leaders are Ileksky district – 77.3 thousand hectares (71%), Abdulinsky urban district – 48.7 thousand (65%), Tashlinsky district 46.5 thousand (57%), Buguruslansky district – 45.8 thousand hectares (55% ). Simultaneously with harrowing, fertilizing of winter crops continues. Fertilizers were applied to 249.9 thousand hectares (58% of the plan). Nine municipalities completed feeding winter crops: Aleksandrovsky, Belyaevsky, Grachevsky, Krasnogvardeysky, Matveevsky, Oktyabrsky, Ponomarevsky, Totsky districts and Orenburg.
