In Chelyabinsk, the FSB stopped another channel of illegal migration of foreigners

In Chelyabinsk, employees of the Russian FSB department stopped another channel of illegal migration of foreign citizens, organized by members of a criminal group.

As a result of operational investigative activities, security forces established that, acting by prior conspiracy, in order to extract income, the attackers organized the sale of fictitious employment contracts to foreigners in the regional center.

Thus, the accomplices concluded fictitious employment contracts with foreigners for nominal persons and organizations. Subsequently, members of the criminal group notified the departments of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Chelyabinsk Region about the conclusion of these agreements, on the basis of which the foreigners extended their stay on Russian territory.

The investigative body of the FSB has opened a criminal case under paragraph “a” of part two of Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Organization of illegal migration by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.”

As reported by the press service of the regional department of the FSB, investigative measures are currently being carried out to consolidate evidence, establish and document other episodes of illegal activities of these individuals.
