The “Horizons of Discovery” tour is the winner of the Grand Prix of the All-Russian Tourist Award “Route of the Year” in the category “The best cultural and educational route“and the winner of the “Route Built” award in the “Main Route” nomination.
During the weekend tour “Horizons of Discovery”, participants will see the gold of the Sarmatians and merchant Orenburg, visit the office of the first Chairman of the Russian Government Viktor Chernomyrdin and places associated with the down-knitting trade, and observe Przewalski’s horses in their natural habitat.
The route passes through the territories of the city of Orenburg, as well as Belyaevsky and Saraktashsky districts. For everyone, from June to August, the trip is complemented by an excursion program in the Sol-Iletsk urban district, including a visit to the Salt Lakes resort and the Cossack Kuren interactive museum, where tourists are introduced to the life and way of life of the Orenburg Cossacks.
In 2024, you can travel on the following dates: May 10-12, May 24-26, June 7-9, June 21-24, July 5-8, July 19-22, August 9-12, August 23-26 , as well as September 6-9. On each arrival date, Orenburg residents can also join the excursion program. When a corporate group is formed, an additional visit will be organized.

In 2023, the route attracted more than 600 people. The geography of tourists on the route is quite extensive: Moscow, Samara, Saratov, Penza, Ulyanovsk regions, Tatarstan, Udmurtia and the Far East.
