The reason for the disruption in the traffic schedule was a technical malfunction.

How reports “KP-Samara”, citing the press service of the Kuibyshev Railway, a passenger train was detained in the Samara region on the evening of April 24.

Train No. 9 was traveling from Samara to Moscow; the reason for the stop was a technical malfunction in one of the cars. A long train delay occurred on the Mylnaya – Obsharovka section and lasted three and a half hours. Passengers of the ill-fated carriage were temporarily transferred to empty seats on the train.

The administration of the Kuibyshev Railway apologized to passengers and also noted that it was taking all possible measures to reduce train delays.

As OBOZ.INFO told earlier, Russian Railways introduced discounts on long-distance flight tickets for passengers with children.
